Report links obesity to advanced prostate cancer

The World Cancer Research Fund has found strong evidence that links obesity in men with the risk of developing aggressive and potentially fatal prostate cancer.

The report used the results from 104 studies involving more than nine million men. The studies looked at diet, nutrition, physical activity, weight and the risk of developing prostate cancer.

Eating healthily, taking regular exercise and maintaining a healthy body weight are recommended to reduce the risk of developing cancer.
