Senior Executives Blame Rising Stress Levels On Mobile Technology

A recent survey has highlighted that eight in ten senior executives feel that the workplace is more stressful than five years ago. Many said that employers expect them to ‘always be available’ by answering emails outside of working hours.

A fifth of people said that ‘switching off from work at home’ is their biggest challenge in terms of looking after their health.

More than 80% of senior executives said their company has no procedure in place for recognising stress in the workplace.

The poll was carried out by Russam GMS, the interim management and executive company.
