Sun Awareness Week 4-10 May 2015

Sun Awareness Week which takes place 4-10 May is a national campaign organised by the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD).

The week aims to raise awareness of skin cancer and exposure to the sun.

The first aim of the week is to encourage people to regularly self-examine for skin cancer. The second is to teach people about the dangers of sunburn, excessive tanning and the use of sunbeds.
